About

Men’s Rowing at the University of Dayton is one of the most organized, developed, and successful teams on campus. We continually encourage all prospective rowers and coxswains to contact our team president or a member of the coaching staff if interested in joining our crew. No experience is needed and the vast majority of our rowers enter college with no rowing background.

We attend regattas throughout the fall and spring in cities throughout the Midwest, South, and East Coast. Our regattas include locations such as Madison, Indianapolis, Knoxville, Princeton, and Philadelphia.

When Ohio winters force us off the Great Miami River, we maximize our strength and fitness through indoor rowing machines and weight training. Our spring racing season kicks off with several dual races in mid to late March and comes to a crescendo at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta held in Philadelphia during the second week of May.

Rowing at UD, while certainly a challenge, is both highly rewarding and a great time. At Dayton, dedicated and skilled coaches combine their talents with athletes who are both motivated and determined. The results speak for themselves.
