I've created a few user groups to start with. -Novice -Varsity -Coaches -Alumni -Fan Club Most of the groups are self explanatory, the Fan Club group is for anyone who registers and has an interest in the team but doesn't fit into the other groups. If you believe you are in the wrong group or not in a group you should be let an administrator know. Groups are useful for dividing members into general categories and granting/blocking access to specific areas of the website. I am considering making a Parents group, this would allow parents to register and access certain areas unavailable to the public, such as the downloads section and the ability to submit photos or news. The parents group could also have access to their own forum section where they could communicate with other parents or plan trips to regattas. While they would have access to a parents section of the forums, they could just as easily be blocked from viewing sensitive areas such as training or general discussion sections that the team would use. How do they get in the 'parents group?' Is that something that Zach does or do they have to do something else? |

Yea they register and when they are activated theyre placed into a group |
